R50

I. Cloud

1. When viewing Shift Handover report, the owner wants to view total pay-ins in a day and in a week in order to check actual pay-in with Manager
II. PC - Sale
1. The restaurant uses PC and the cashier wants change Order screen (currently there are two "..." buttons, which makes them confused)
2. The owner wants to edit/delete delivery deposit when it is wrong (At the moment they have MISA edit/delete it)
3. Waitstaff/Cashier wants to show number pad on login window so that they can quickly enter PIN code quickly upon logging in
4. The restaurants in Germany usualy set numerical item ID, so waitstaff/cashier wants to quickly search item ID with number pad on all devices
5. The restaurant sets Price on menu including tax, the cashier wants payment information to be shown clearly

I. Cloud

1. When viewing Shift Handover report, the owner wants to view total pay-ins in a day and in a week in order to check actual pay-in with Manager
Details of change:
 In R50, Shift Handover report adds total pay-in in shift so that the owner can easily compare actual amount with the amount on the program.
Instruction steps:

  • Select Pay-in/Pay-out/Shift Handover Minutes.
  • Select period to view.
  • The program will show all pay-ins in shift: Opening balance, Cash pay-in in shift, Handover amount, Difference.

 

II. PC - Sale
1. The restaurant uses PC and the cashier wants change Order screen (currently there are two "..." buttons, which makes them confused)
Details of change:
 When taking order , on PC (do not use touchscreen) the program show 2 buttons "...", which makes users confused (Cancel/Move item button and Modifier button) In R50, the program uses 1 button for all in order to facilitate taking order.

 

2. The owner wants to edit/delete delivery deposit when it is wrong (At the moment they have MISA edit/delete it)

Details of change: When the guest makes reservation or requests delivery and places deposit, the cashier will recognize this amount on the program. However, in some cases the cashier recognizes wrong deposit and cannot edit/delete the recognized amount. In R50, the program allows to edit/delete deposit pay-in note.

  • If the owner wants the cashier to edit/delete deposit, proceed with settings on System settings/General settings, Purchase/Sale tab.

3. Waitstaff/Cashier wants to show number pad on login window so that they can quickly enter PIN code quickly upon logging in
Details of change: 
For the restaurants which only use POS for sale, it takes time to enter password because the device only support virtual keyboard. In R50, the program adds PIN code for each account. When logging in, the user can quickly enter PIN code (only digits) instead of password.
Note: This feature only supports Offline working mode.
Instruction steps:
  • The manager sets PIN code for staff.
    • When entering/editing staff information, check Use PIN code to log in offline mode on PC/POS/Tablet/SmartPhone.
    • Enter PIN code and confirm.

    • Click Save.
  • When the cashier logs in, they can log in with password or PIN code.
    • Click the icon , enter PIN code to log in.


4. The restaurants in Germany usualy set numerical item ID, so waitstaff/cashier wants to quickly search item ID with number pad on all devices
Details of change:
 In Germany, the restaurants usually set numerical item ID. Because item name is long and difficult to remember, the guest usually orders item ID. In R50, the program adds number pad so that the cashier can quickly recognize items by ID and quantity
Instruction steps:
  • On Order window, turn on taking order with number pad - PLU.

  • Enter formula: Quantity of items * Item ID.
  • E.g.: The guest orders 2 pizzas with ID 311. Enter: 2 - * - 311 




Details of change: In R50, the program shows amount before tax and after tax on Check out screen
