R40

I. Cloud

1. The manager wants to check total change not taken in a month so that he/she can share it to staff
2. The owner wants to remove Delete access logs right, which means that no one can delete the access logs even if it is the manager so that he/she can track all arising activities on the management page, at the same time transparent in restaurant management
3. The manager wants to use icon similar to the food in the menu so that he/she can save time from taking or updating menu photo

II. PC - Sale
1. At quick service milked tea shop, the cashier wants to print labels sized 50x30 and 40x25 (showing price of the drink)
2. Cashier/Waitstaff can quickly check total number of orders (Waiting for payment/Take away/Delivery/Reservation) and quickly move it to this list so that no order is missed.
3. Cashier/Waitstaff wants to Add order more quickly and conveniently on any screen (now he/she has to move at least 2 screens if he/she is not at Order screen)

I. Cloud
1. The manager wants to check total change not taken in a month so that he/she can share it to staff
Details of change:
 Currently, for the change not taken, the program shows it on report on detailed bills as an item Tip/Change not taken. However, on report on sales by items and promotion, this amount is not shown. From R40 version, the program adds this amount (equivalent to Tip/Change not taken) on report on sales by items, details:
  • General report
    • Top items
    • Sales per item
    • Sales of items by time
  • Report on sales by items


  • Report on sales by items


When the manager wants to know total change not taken in order to share it with the staff, he/she can view Report on sales by items, select item Tip/Change not taken. Total change not taken is the amount shown on Total sales column.

2. The owner wants to remove Delete access logs right, which means that no one can delete the access logs even if it is the manager so that he/she can track all arising activities on the management page, at the same time transparent in restaurant management

Details of change: From R40 version, the program only allows System Admin account to proceed with xDelete access logsfeature. The owner can track all activities of the restaurant without intervention of the others.
  • For Manager, Chain Manager account, when Delete access logs, the program will warn and not allow to delete.


3. The manager wants to use icon similar to the food in the menu so that he/she can save time from taking or updating menu photo
Details of change:
 From R40 version, when entering food, drink and there is no photo, the program will prompt equivalent icon for each kind of item. Accordingly the waitstaff can quickly find item when taking order.
  • When entering the item, the program will prompt photo according to the item name.
For example:
When entering Fried fish, the program will prompt fried fish dish.

When entering Heineken beer, the program will prompt beer bottle photo.

  • Can click Symbol to select other symbol.


4. The manager wants to allow the staff to work only in 1 mode (Online/Offline) in order to limit error occurrence upon switching working mode
Details of change: 
Currently, CUKCUK allows to work on both Online and Offline mode, which may lead to discrepancy among devices and reports. From R40 version, the program adds working mode settings, allowing the manager to select Online or Offline. At that time, all devices of the restaurant will use one working mode.
Instruction steps:
  • On System settings/General settings, click Edit on Implementation model.
  • Select a mode.



  • Click Save. At that time, all devices of the restaurant must log in with this mode.
  • If the staff's device logs in with the mode which is different from the set mode, for example: the manager sets Offline mode but the cashier's device logs in with Online mode, the program will warn the user.



II. PC - Sale
1. At quick service milked tea shop, the cashier wants to print labels sized 50x30 and 40x25 (showing price of the drink)
Details of change: From R40 version, add paper size 50x30mm and 40x25mm for label print template. The cashier can select a paper size in accordance with the printer of the restaurant.
Instruction steps:

  • Customize label print template, select a proper paper size with the label printer.


2. Cashier/Waitstaff can quickly check total number of orders (Waiting for payment/Take away/Delivery/Reservation) and quickly move it to this list so that no order is missed.
Details of change:
 From R40 version, the program changes Order interface, which helps the cashier easily follow up total orders by each serving type: Waiting for payment, Take away, Delivery, Reservation and quickly switch between lists so that no order is missed.

  • Select tab to quickly view list by serving type.


3. Cashier/Waitstaff wants to Add order more quickly and conveniently on any screen (now he/she has to move at least 2 screens if he/she is not at Order screen)
Details of change: 
From R40 version, the program changes Order interface, which helps the cashier quickly add Order on any screen.
  • Change the position of Add order to the top of the program.
  • When clicking  on any screen, the user can add new order.


4. The owner wants to remove Delete access logs right, which means that no one can delete the access logs even it it is the manager so that he/she can track all arising activities on the management page, at the same time transparent in restaurant management
Details of change: From R40 version, the program only allows System Admin account to proceed with Delete access logs feature. The owner can track all activities of the restaurant without intervention of the others.
  • For Manager, Chain Manager account, when Delete access logs, the program will warn and not allow to delete.


5. The manager wants to use icon similar to the food in the menu so that he/she can save time from taking or updating menu photo
Details of change: From R40 version, when entering food, drink and there is no photo, the program will prompt equivalent icon for each kind of item. Accordingly the waitstaff can quickly find item when taking order.

6. The manager wants to use icon similar to the food in the menu so that he/she can save time from taking or updating menu photo
Details of change: For spacious restaurants, it takes time and energy for the waitstaff to run to the cashier counter to get check/bill. From R40 version, the program allows the cashier to print check/bill on any printer in the restaurant. Accordingly, the waitstaff easily gets the printed check/bill without reprinting multiple times.
Instruction steps:
  • On Printer and template settings, click Edit.
  • Check Allow to select the other printer when printing check/bill.

  • When the cashier prints bill, it is possible to select a printer near the waitstaff.




7.  When printing check/bill, the cashier wants to select IP address of the printer so that the check/bill can be printed on the printer farther from the cashier but nearer the waitstaff
Details of change:
 Currently, on Kitchen/bar sending log, the cashier only can view and reprint processing ticket created and sent within a day. Consequently, when the guest wants to check with the cashier the order created on the day before (as per the set sales time), it cannot proceed.
Therefore in R40, the program adds Kitchen/bar sending log feature, the following improvements satisfy such demand:
  1. Increase the time of saving kitchen/bar sending log from 1 day to 7 days (according to the set sales time).
  2. For the reprinted ticket. Information on the reprint ticket is exactly the same as that on the first printed ticket (excluding Resender information) even when printing the ticket, order is changed or subject to checking. (When reprinting, the program gets latest information of the order to reprint but gets information of the previous print).

III. Server
1. The manager wants to allow the staff to work only in 1 mode (Online/Offline) in order to limit error occurrence upon switching working mode
Details of change: From R40 version, add Working mode on CUKCUK Server, the manager can reset the mode when internet is interrupted.
  • When the manager selects Online mode on back end, CUKCUK Server will also default Online mode.



  • If internet in the restaurant is lost, cannot get access to Back end to synchronize settings, you can select working mode on CUKCUK Server.


IV. Mobile
1. Cashier/Waitstaff wants to split 1 order into multiple bills so that it is easy to get payment from each guest in a group
Details of change: From R40 version, add Split order feature so that the cashier can split and check out separately upon guest's request.
Instruction steps:
  • On the order of the guest who wants to make separate payment, click this icon [...], select Split order.

  • Increase the number of item(s) to be split.
  • Click Done.



  • If the guests want to split the other item, click Split more.
  • Then follow the same steps.





  • Click OK.
  • Go back to Order window and check out for guest.

4. [GERMANY] When the cashier/waitstaff is on shift and wants to quickly switch user without logging out
Details of change: In some German restaurants, the cashier cum waitstaff not only takes order but also checks out for guests. When closing shift, in addition to handing over the sales in shift the cashier also has to hand over serving orders so that the other staff can continue serving guests. Therefore from R40 version, the program adds Order Handover feature.
Instruction steps: 
  • Click the icon , select Order handover.

  • Check the order to be handed over.
  • Click Handover.

  • Select a takeover person.
  • Click OK.
